  We Need Unity Among the Powerful Economies in the International System By MA Uniting together the powerful world’s economies is the key to achieving a more just and equitable world. China, the US, and Russia need to unite if vulnerable economies, particularly African countries can survive in the international system. Assuming the aforementioned world leaders are United, would you have the question of Ukraine being invaded by Russia? Similarly, will you have the question of Palestine being occupied and subjugated? I certainly doubt it. So, International law does not favor the very African countries who wish to see these powerful economies fragmented.   You simply need to determine which side of history you want to end up on. Who are you? A subordinate who remains slavishly obedient to his master, or the presumptive leader of an organization that will be far more powerful than it has ever been? Think! The latter!

  After President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s failure to speak at COP 28 as scheduled, what is more shameful is the press talk given by his minister of foreign affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, that “The speeches, to be honest as good as they may be, are mostly a repeat of pledges or promises and Nigeria is saying enough is enough, it’s time for action.” Alas!
