Do not Write a Corpulent Piece

Do not Write a Corpulent Piece

Research has shown that the most impactful writing is the one bereft of corpulence. It’s unfortunate to know for your writing to be appreciated (in this case, loved and enjoyed), you must ensure that it does not exceed 1000 words.

Most of our students do not read, except for those who have been blessed with the endurance, consistency and patience to read. To stay on top in your business place, read everyday. For you to be promoted in your office, read everyday.

If you are a politician, you will have an unmatched advantage over your opponents if you read. Of all the people who have occupied  positions of authority, you will discover that they are voracious readers.

Read to salvage yourself. Read to rescue your family. Read to protect your people. Read to uplift your country in the eyes of the watching world. Read to change the world. The world needs readers, and try to be part.

To our writers, do not write a corpulent piece for your audience. One of the reasons why Ibrahim Ibraheem Dooba’s writings are read (I sometimes read people’s comments) is because of his unique writing style; he avoids lengthy writing.

Mu’az Ahmad writes.
